Fire and Rescue

Geneva County is served by ten volunteer fire departments with a strong county association that promotes training and mutual aid among member departments. These volunteers give freely of themselves to their communities to help improve the quality of life in and around Geneva County. They have an excellent safety record and have improved the quality of protection provided to the communities in Geneva County. Each department is a member of the Alabama Association of Firefighters. Geneva County's E911 system has been in place for ten years.
