Geneva's Festival on the Rivers

Geneva's Festival on the Rivers has been recognized nationally as one of the top twenty events in the Southeast. The Festival is held each year the last weekend in April.

Slocomb's Tomato Festival

A family-friendly festival celebrating the best tomatoes in the country! Held each year the second weekend in June.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hartford's Pumpkin People

Celebrating the fall season, the Hartford Civic Club sponsors a "Pumpkin People Contest" the last week of October.  

 

 

 

 

Eagle's Nest Falling Leaves Gathering and Pow Wow

October 14-16, 2011, in Samson, Alabama, The Eagle's Nest of Alabama will hold the Third Annual Falling Leaves Gathering and Pow Wow. The venue offers free admisssion and primitive camping.  (Donations appreciated).  Friday 9am - 12pm is Kid's Education Day; 1pm Grand Entry - Honoring the Creator;  Saturday 9am - 12pm Exhibition Dancing; 1pm Grand Entry - Honoring our Warriors;  Sunday 9am - 12pm Exhibition Dancing; 1pm Grand Entry - Honoring All Our Relations ~ Native Crafts, Food, Dancers, Music.  Located at 552 Crocket Road in Samson, AL 36477.  Sponsored by The Eagle Nest of Alabama.  For more information, call Bill or Teresa at 334-360-1106.
